LBC went national in April 2014 from Leading Britain’s Conversation from just London’s leading to more callers with varying opinion. Have a listen to the audio from James O’Brian on Global owned LBC listening and reacting to a caller.
- James is questioning the caller as any listener would and not being biased to be pro/against the callers suggestion. For example James asks him to explain his reasoning.
- James went in and out of that call in three minutes. Yes it was brilliant audio but he did not let it get cut short too quickly or drag out too long.
- James did not put his ego and position as broadcaster before the caller, he respected the caller but tested the callers points.
