Today CBBC turns 30 years old. To celebrate, at AudioBoom I have presented and produced two packages. I have interviewed presenters from the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and 10’s including: Andy Crane, Toby Anstis, Kirsten O’Brien, Angellica Bell, Steve Wilson, Adrian Dickson, Angellica Bell, Ortis Deeley, Jez Edwards, Gemma Hunt, Sophie McDonnell and Shannon Flynn. The two themes I have looked at are the golden era and the future of CBBC.

  1. Enjoyed this very much! 2007 did actually see the beginning of the CBBC Office, the set of which remained until 2008 when it moved to a different studio but was rejigged so remained largely the same until they moved to Salford in 2011. It’s retained largely the same style since, and during 2007-2010 continued to have children call in, email in etc and take part in competitions, as well as having live studio guests
